  This past weekend, 8 of us tried out their yoga paddleboarding class. We all had an amazing experience with the surrounding marine animals (seals, whales, dolphins) and were able to build our confidence up and try out full yoga positions while balancing on the water. Awesome experience, Anthony was a great instructor!

  Horrible experience! My experience with Bliss happened over two weekends. The first weekend friends and I were vacationing in Newport and wanted to try paddleboard yoga. We booked the classes online and called Taylor (the owner) the morning of the class to get directions. Since we were new to the area, we thought we could walk it. Turns out the walk was longer than we thought so once we learned we would be late, we texted with her. We got to the pier 30 minutes late and she was already gone. We then walked to the Bliss storefront to explain our situation and ask for a make-up class and she said yes, for $20. I understand the policy, but we were nothing but transparent of our situation. Nevertheless, we paid the $20 and signed up for a class the following weekend and the instructor was 30 min late! Did we get a refund? NO! In addition to the class starting late, I received faulty equipment and was never able to anchor my paddle board down so was not able to complete the class! It was a windy day and so I had to be paddling the entire time to not run into other people. Absolutely not Zen, absolutely not yoga, and absolutely not worth $55. When I wrote to Taylor (once again) for a refund she originally ignored my e-mails and only responded when I threatened with a poor review. Bliss yoga is not Client-centered and I had an absolutely miserable experience. Taylor shows zero compassion or interest in her Clients. There are many other paddleboard yoga companies, save yourself some hassle and go with another one.
